Happy Holidays from Carter & Tani

On Behalf of | Dec 6, 2016 | Uncategorized

As we come to the close of Carter & Tani‘s 25th anniversary year, we look back and are grateful for our clients and business associates who have enabled us to reach this milestone. We also look forward to the future, with the addition of our new associate, Alissa Carter Verson, who joined us this May after passing the Illinois bar exam, and as we examine ways to continue to improve our services to our valued clients.

In acknowledgement of our gratitude and in appreciation of these relationships, we continue this year with the tradition of making charitable contributions during the holiday season in honor of our valued clients and business associates.

We thought it fitting as we celebrate the 25th anniversary of a woman-owned law firm to make a gift to organizations who support girls and young women to succeed. We have made a contribution to Step Up, an organization that propels girls from under-served neighborhoods in Chicago and other U.S. cities to fulfill their potential by empowering them to become confident, college-bound, career-focused, and ready to join the next generation of professional women. We have also made a Gift of Women Empowerment through Heifer International that provides training and assistance to women in under-developed countries to enable them to become self-sufficient.

On a local level, we have made donations to help those in need. We have contributed to the local Habitat for Humanity affiliate where Christine and Doris’ husbands both regularly volunteer. We have also contributed to the Disciples Food Pantry, a small local food pantry that is currently providing food to over 1,000 people each month, where Doris and her husband volunteer.

It is our hope that our donations bring honor to our clients and business associates as well as hope to the persons who receive assistance through these organizations. Best wishes for a happy holiday season and for a prosperous new year.
